The 90Eight uses Völkl's 3D.Ridge construction - a raised central ridge that tapers to a thin edge - reducing mass around the ski's perimeter and boosting agility, while a multi-layer wood core (dense ash under the binding, softer poplar toward the edges) delivers a lively, connected feel. Tip and tail rocker with camber underfoot makes turn initiation effortless, and it holds a genuinely confident edge on hard-packed pistes while staying forgiving enough for the trees and light off-piste chop.

Ski Condition
This is a pre-loved ski and has signs of cosmetic wear with some top-sheet damage. However, the bases and edges are in good condition (with a few light scratches - to be expected from a pre-owned ski of this age) and skiing performance is NOT affected.
With an original RRP of ~£800, our generous price takes into account the age and general wear of the skis. If you are after a value-for-money purchase, this is it!

Every pair of skis and bindings we sell is carefully inspected before listing — we check bases, edges, topsheets, and binding function, and note any wear honestly and specifically in each listing rather than leaving surprises. We only sell equipment we'd be happy to ski on ourselves.
That said, all skis are second-hand, and normal skiing carries inherent risk. We'd always recommend having bindings checked and re-calibrated by a certified technician before first use, in line with standard practice for any second-hand ski equipment.
