All equipment listed on MountainLoop has been visually inspected and, where applicable, refurbished by a qualified ski technician. Inspection covers visible condition and general functionality only and does not constitute a safety certification or guarantee of performance.

Binding Safety

Ski bindings must be professionally adjusted, tested, and certified by a qualified ski technician prior to use. Release settings (DIN values) are not tested or configured by MountainLoop and must be set according to the user’s height, weight, skiing ability, and boot sole length by a certified technician. MountainLoop accepts no liability for injury arising from incorrectly set, unadjusted, or malfunctioning bindings.

Limitation of Liability

MountainLoop acts solely as a reseller of second-hand ski equipment. Any product liability in respect of manufacturing defects, design faults, or material failures remains with the original equipment manufacturer. MountainLoop excludes all liability, to the maximum extent permitted by law, for any injury, loss, or damage — whether direct, indirect, or consequential — arising from the use of equipment purchased through this platform.

User Responsibility

By purchasing and using equipment from MountainLoop, the buyer acknowledges and agrees that:

1. Skiing is an inherently dangerous activity and carries risk of serious injury or death;
2. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to ensure all equipment is professionally inspected, correctly fitted, and properly maintained prior to use;
3. Equipment should be assessed for suitability by a qualified technician relative to the user’s skill level, physical condition, and intended use;
4. MountainLoop makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the fitness for purpose or safety of any item listed.

Governing Law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK legislation.
