The MountainLoop Verdict

A stiff, precise all-mountain ski for confident skiers who want strong edge hold and a responsive, hard-charging feel underfoot. The ARV 88 is the narrowest and stiffest ski in Armada's ARV line-up, built with a poplar wood core and w3Dgewall construction for excellent grip and durability across variable conditions. Tip-and-tail rocker paired with solid camber underfoot delivers predictable turn initiation and a confident carve, while an oversized, heat-treated edge holds firm even on hard-packed or icy pistes.

Paired with the Strive 13D binding - a dependable, high-DIN all-mountain option - this is a lightweight, responsive setup for skiers who want precision and stability as they push harder across the whole mountain.

Ski Condition

Excellent condition, an ex-demo ski only used a handful of times. Very minor topsheet nicks near the tips and light scratching near the tail — bases are in excellent condition with only minor signs of use, and edges are in perfect condition. Bindings are visually near-perfect. Plenty of lifespan left in these skis.

Our Promise

Every pair of skis and bindings we sell is carefully inspected before listing — we check bases, edges, topsheets, and binding function, and note any wear honestly and specifically in each listing rather than leaving surprises. We only sell equipment we'd be happy to ski on ourselves.

That said, all skis are second-hand, and normal skiing carries inherent risk. We'd always recommend having bindings checked and re-calibrated by a certified technician before first use, in line with standard practice for any second-hand ski equipment.

Shipping & Returns

We process and ship all orders promptly, so your skis are on their way as quickly as possible.
